Reactive Maintenance
What is reactive maintenance?
Reactive maintenance refers to a type of maintenance strategy where repairs and maintenance activities are carried out in response to a malfunction, breakdown, or failure of a piece of equipment, machinery, infrastructure, or other assets. In other words, maintenance is only performed when an issue arises, and the goal is to restore the asset to its normal operating condition as quickly as possible.
Features of our repair
- Technical diagnosis over the phone – Contact us to describe the fault so we can diagnose the issue
- Repair of diagnosed fault – Engineer will repair the issue you’re having with the system.
- Condition check of parts and components related to the fault – Further checks into other parts or components to avoid further breakdowns.
- Medical PAT test – Electrical safety test for devices with medical regulations.
Our engineer will sit down with you and explain everything they have done with the system and have a quick demonstration to prove the system working. The
engineer will also ask you to operate the system to confirm that the system is working before they leave.
A certificate will be provided outlining the repair and will require you to sign the certificate. The reason for this is so that both the engineer and customer can confirm the system is working. If the system is to go down after the certificate is signed, it would then become a new call-out.
